Bankruptcy of Perini Navi
Following the bankruptcy announcement in January, Perini Navi‘s assets will be auctioned at a reference price of € 62.5 million.
Assets include Perini Navi‘s Viareggio and La Spezia shipyards, valued at € 23.5 million and € 21 million respectively, as well as real estate equity assets.
Financial problems were originally alluded to reported losses of more than 80 million euros in 2019. Although an investment restructuring plan was offered, bankruptcy judges were unable to finalize the deal, leaving Perini Navi in a precarious position. Its future remains uncertain.
The auction will begin on July 30 at 3:00 p.m. and will require a deposit of 10 million euros to be paid before 5:00 p.m. on July 28.
