The 2025 Monaco Yacht Show taking place from Wednesday 24 to Saturday 27 September 2025will include showcasing stunning cruising destinations in the Asia Pacific region.

Testifying to the region‘s appeal and cruising, Asia Pacific Superyachts (APS) network of owner-agents will welcome visitors to the APS Stand DS26 where Southeast Asia’s growing popularity as a superyacht destination will be on display.

Monaco’s iconic Port Hercule will once again be the global epicentre of superyachting and the Asia Pacific region has become increasingly prominent at the event. APS will showcae the region’s growing appeal and cruising opportunities, welcoming visitors interested in learningmore about unique cruising experiences and easing of restrictions.

New information will be shared about exotic cruising destinations such as those found in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands in India, Bali & Raja Ampat in Indonesia, Phuket & Koh Samui/ Gulf of Thailand, Myanmar, Maldives, Seychelles, Singapore, Sri Lanka, and Langkawi and, Malaysia.

APS co-founder & GM Gordon Fernandes and APS co-founder Captain Charlie Dwyer enthuse, “APS directors and region experts will bring the most recent news that will benefit superyachts visiting the region, along with details of new Asia Pacific world-class marinas and government changes. Visitors can view new videos and learn about incredible anchorages, cultural experiences and new islands to explore while getting up to date news of easing of government restrictions and new marinas.”

There will be ample opportunities to meet one-on-one to explore unique itineraries and easing ofregulations of stunning superyacht destinations and new modern world-class marinas. Among new marinas scheduled to open are the exotic superyacht destinations of Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Singapore and the Maldives, with more to come.

“Governments in many of the island countries are looking to support the yachting community and industry by also allowing more marinas to be constructed and expanded”, reports Mohamed Hameed, Managing Director of the Maldivian branch of APS. “An example is the Maldives Zamani Islands Superyacht Marina to be launched in 2026, marking a new era for those seeking to cruise the Maldivian waters. This cutting-edge project aims at transforming the superyacht experience into an exceptionally luxurious convenience. The project will encompass eight islands extending 5 kilometres into a natural lagoon, offering the country’s first Yacht Club and a Superyacht Marina.”
