2.4mR World Championship at Fraglia Vela Malcesine
The Inclusive 2.4mR World Championship 2025 officially concluded today at Fraglia Vela Malcesine, after four intense days of top-level Open and Para sailing on the stunning waters of Lake Garda.
The event brought together the very best of the international sailing community, uniting sport, inclusion, culture, and friendship in a true celebration of excellence, with sailors representing 17 nations.
Results
Jeffrey Linton (USA 160) is the new 2.4mR Overall World Champion, maintaining his lead from the very first race.
A well-deserved second place went to Britain’s Megan Pascoe (GBR 173), who consistently ranked among the top competitors throughout the week.
In third place, after an impressive comeback in the final days, was Urs Infanger (SUI 1022) of Switzerland.
The Open ranking matches the Overall classification, while in the NOD ranking (including NOD Para), Italy’s Antonio Squizzato (ITA 112) claimed the top spot, followed by Marko Dahlberg (FIN 196) in second and Otto Dahlberg (FIN 203) in third.
In the NOD Para category, Italy once again shone with Antonio Squizzato (ITA 112) taking first place, followed by Chuck Allen (USA 186) and another Italian athlete, Davide Di Maria (ITA 104), in third.
