A sailboat collides with the megayacht “A” in the Ría de Vigo
The “Sailing Yacht A“, owned by the Russian magnate Andrey Melnichenko, was involved yesterday in an incident with a small sailboat of 4 meters in length.
This boat, apparently, lost control and collided with the yacht of more than 130 meters in length.
One of the sailors’ crew injured her head and this collision slightly damaged the deck of the megayacht.
This private yacht has been anchored in Vigo since Friday, protecting itself from the bad weather forecast for the next few days. Fortunately, the girl’s injury was not serious and everything was in a fright.
