Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, a Sunday in the sun.
With the arrival at the regatta of the classic yachts registered in the Coupe d’Automne of the Yacht Club de France, magnificently highlighted by a pleasant breeze and a bright sun, the Voiles de Saint-Tropez started, for the first time in its history, two weeks of racing in the Gulf.
If on land the ultravigilance imposed by the pandemic is de rigueur, in the water the desire to sail and share the passion for the regatta is there, as demonstrated by the 140 units contracted for the first week.
Boats up to about 20 meters, until Saturday, will animate the water. This year there are 85 boats divided into 6 groups, including 5 under IRC bandwidth and one reserved for TP 52. Mylius, Swan, Grand Soleils, Kers or Solaris …
Then they will give way to the super ships, Modern and Classic, which in turn will be able to enjoy the Gulf.
