The Palma International Boat Show has opened its doors. The first visitors entered the Moll Vell site after passing the accreditation filter and taking the temperature.
This new edition opens the nautical sector season and marks the beginning of the economic recovery of a strategic sector for the Balearic Islands industry.
Until Sunday, June 6, from 10:00 to 20:00, the fair can be visited at the Moll Vell in Palma. The event is committed to the face-to-face format after more than a year of global pandemic.
The Palma International Boat Show this year has 227 exhibitors and more than 185 boats at sea, with more than 80,000 square meters of fair.
All of the world market leaders will be represented at the fair with world-wide novelties of boats and nautical equipment in person, and the recreational boating and professional nautical industry will be consolidated in Palma as a destination.

The nautical fair with a long tradition of more than 35 years, reinvents itself. The Palma International Boat Show is the collaboration of the face-to-face fair with the Balearic Yacht Show, the virtual nautical event that was born during the confinement and that will celebrate its second edition on the same dates as the PIBS.
This alliance could combine the face-to-face format with the virtual one and have the first hybrid nautical event.
