Admiral’s Cup – A Legacy Reborn
13th July – 28th July 2027
The Admiral’s Cup, a prestigious sailing event, made a triumphant return in 2025 under the esteemed organization of the Royal Ocean Racing Club. This 24th edition witnessed an exceptional fleet of yachts representing some of the world’s leading yacht clubs. The Yacht Club de Monaco emerged victorious, clinching the coveted Admiral’s Cup Trophy and solidifying its status as the reigning champions.
First established in 1957, the Admiral’s Cup remains one of the most respected events in international sailing, bringing together national and yacht club teams in a test of endurance, strategy, and seamanship.
Teams from Great Britain have been the most successful in the event’s history, with nine victories, followed by Germany with four, the USA and Australia with three each, and previous wins for France, Italy, the Netherlands, and New Zealand.
The next edition of the Admiral’s Cup will be held in 2027 and biennially by the Royal Ocean Racing Club – continuing the legacy of one of sailing’s greatest prizes.
