GL52 PENSACOLA CUP

The GL52s are back in action on beautiful Pensacola Bay. Three of our elite GL52s made the journey to Pensacola to race in our second Pensacola Cup.

This year the stakes are higher than ever as they race for the “Kraken” Cup – a custom hand-made trophy by local artist Joe Hobbs.

Alongside the GL52s, we are excited to welcome the ClubSwan28 fleet for their inaigural US event. With 5 boats, they will be joining us on the race course Friday through Sunday. Keep track of their racing by checking out their event website!

To kick off the week’s festivities, Mayor DC Reeves hosted the teams at the downtown Seville Harbor. Sailors reconnected and socialized over some pre-regatta beers and snacks.

Racing for the GL52s begins today, with a planned warning at 12pm CST. Wind and weather conditions are expected to be tricky and will test the patience of racers and race committee alike. Stay tuned with all the action by following social pages!
