iQFOiL EUROPEANS 2026
Sferracavallo, located just northwest of Palermo in Sicily, will host the iQFOiL European Championships from 22 to 29 November 2025. This coastal venue is known for its reliable Mediterranean breeze patterns and technical racing environment, making it an ideal setting for high-level windsurfing competition.
The racecourse lies in a semi-sheltered bay bordered by Monte Gallo, offering a varied mix of sea states—from moderate chop to flatwater depending on wind direction and intensity. In late November, local thermal winds and prevailing northwesterlies typically generate fast-paced, tactical racing that demands precision, agility, and race management.
