Martín Pérez and Ana Chudnenko prevailed at the Ala Moana Log Fest, an event that paid tribute to the tradition and essence of surfing with the riders giving away their style on boards greater than 2.75 meters.

“I am excited to be in a tournament like this. Because before there were none and today there are even few in Latin America. Because this is Log, more than longboard. It’s a classic style from the 60s and 70s and this is a return to the roots, to how it all began. My old man, for example, was one of the few who ran longboard decades ago and today he is here, with us, watching this amazing festival in which two of his sons ran ”, says Daniel Gil (36 years old), nine times champion Argentine longboard, who came third, one place behind Surfiel (23), the recent national king of the category.

“It is a dream to see something like this. It is a prize for life. Surfers are rewarded for this life because we can do a sport that shapes us as people.
