After yesterday’s “Super Death Reaching,” today kept the pressure on full blast. Sweden’s Vilma Bobeck and Ebba Berntsson stayed ahead in FX, with USA and Canada close behind. Rising stars Will Stratton and Matei Meglic (USA) stunned the fleet with three bold port tacks.
In the 49er class, Austria’s Keanu Prettner and Jakob Flachberger took the lead, swapping gold positions with USA’s Nevin Snow and Ian Macdiarmid. Austria’s Nacra 17 teams shuffled spots, while GBR held onto gold. iQFOil racers faced nearly mile-long slalom courses with 12-knot winds.
