Marine Diesel Online Class By American Sailing Association
This class is designed for both the professional and recreational users of small diesel engines.
The presentation will consist of a live powerpoint mixed with pre-recorded videos of the different engine systems, and the winterization process. From this course you will gain a fundamental understanding of how engines work, operate, and are maintained.
Poor maintenance can lead to catastrophic engine problems. The goal of this class is to provide you with an understanding of the core engine systems, so that you can upkeep, diagnos, or solve the unexpected problems you may encounter at sea.
For scheduling conflicts, both sessions will be recorded for replay. On demand viewing will be available to students 24-hours after the initial class.
