BOAT International Media, the leader in superyacht multimedia, events and intelligence has acquired the data organization, digital media and B2B Boating Communications, International Boat Industry (IBI), the information vademecum of the international nautical industry.

Since 1968, IBI has been the most respected magazine serving the large volume boat industry. The agreement also includes IBI’s market intelligence platform, IBI Plus, its digital channels and company events.

Its CEO Nick Hopkinson, associated with IBI since 1968, will act as a consultant for Boat International.

Thus Boat International appropriates the B2B services that IBI provides to the global nautical industry and will develop its print and digital offer.

IBI Plus will complement the existing BOAT Pro market intelligence platform serving the superyacht industry.
