David Beckham decided to treat himself to £ 5 million with a 100-foot yacht that he helped design after drawing inspiration from seaside walks with Elton John.
The 46-year-old legend “gifted himself” the luxurious ship after being inspired by his boardwalks with Elton John and David Furnish, with whom they often vacation at sea.
David plans to set sail on his new ship in the New Year and sail with his wife Victoria, 47, and his children.
He helped design the boat himself and has been incredibly hands-on with everything. David took a look at some yachts in the summer and decided to indulge himself. It will be a fairly luxurious yacht by anyone’s standards, but not flashy.
David, his wife Victoria, and his children Brooklyn, 22, Romeo, 19, Cruz, 16, and Harper, 10, have often been seen vacationing on yachts over the years.
There will be an area for the kids to snorkel and it will be a base for the entire Beckham clan to have a magical vacation.
David bought a Ferretti after a visit to the shipyard’s headquarters in Forli over the summer. It is expected to be ready in a few weeks, after finishing the finishing touches.
In June of this year, David was seen checking out a £ 10 million 110-foot superyacht in the port of La Spezia after traveling to Italy to tour the luxurious ship.
The news of the yacht comes just days after David showed off taking his new Maserati MC20, which he designed himself, for a spin in an ad for the car brand. And he unveiled the new ad that was filmed in Miami, driving the streets in his custom car.
