Michael Jordan’s $ 8 million yacht, Viking Catch 23, is a tribute to his Air Jordan 3 sneakers
Michael Jordan shows at a glance the lavish lifestyle he leads, which includes owning and regularly using two expensive yachts, and his incredible yacht certainly catches the eye.
At last summer’s Big Rock Blue Marlin fishing tournament in Morehead City, North Carolina, the Fabulous Fisherman prize of $ 552,500 required a 500-pound marlin to be caught. Jordan arrived and quickly hooked up with a massive 442-pound cannon. Ultimately, he did not win the event, but it was an auspicious debut for his new yacht, Viking Catch 23.
Michael Jordan‘s yacht was an estimated investment of $ 8 million. Of which Jordan customizations raised costs beyond $ 6 million for similar 80-foot Viking models.
It is a highly personalized boat built for sport and leisure fishing. Her striking wrap throughout the hull is based on the texture of her famous Air Jordan 3 sneakers. The Viking Catch 23 is a hobbyist ship, even though there are some luxurious amenities on board. Catch 23 has room for just 10 guests, and the specialized 216-square-foot cabin is built for deep-sea fishing. There is a stern door, a huge freezer, a large storage space and wells for fish.

Competition is still everything for Jordan, he’s an accomplished angler who attends deep-sea fishing tournaments, and every once in a while, Jordan catches something big enough.
