SEE Hybrid Yacht Concept
Gill Schmid Design and Lateral Naval Architects collaborate on a 65-meter hybrid yacht concept called SEE.
The concept centered on an E-Hybrid Lateral propulsion system allows a quiet and efficient cruise.
Batteries power the anchored load for six to eight hours and offer up to three hours of quiet cruising, while diesel engines are used only to charge the battery.
SEE is a casual yacht with open plan living, flexibility of use and convertible spaces
SEE’s outdoor decks are spacious and packed with space.
On the main deck a glass bottom infinity pool is the largest of the five pools on board.
The concept, with a volume of 1,670 GT, features an open kitchen with communal tables and an informal lounge.
She owns hydroponic tanks to grow fresh produce on board, a fermentation chamber, and a mushroom laboratory.
She has a bow salon that functions as an open-air cinema and is transformed into a terrace facing the sea thanks to a large retractable glass.
The lower level houses a spa, with a sauna, steam room, infinity pools and gym. With accommodation for 14 guests, it has an owner’s suite located on the upper deck that spans 12.2 meters of beam. The rest of the accommodation consists of six suites. The crew can accommodate up to 17 people.
With a hybrid propulsion system, SEE can reach a top speed of 16 knots with a maximum range of 3,750 nautical miles.
