69F CUP
Just a few day after the conclusion of the 2024 EUROSAF 69F Youth European Championship, won by Jajo Dutchsail Woman with Willemijn Offerman as skipper, the 69F Class is ready to return to flight.
The occasion is the Grand Prix 3 of the 69F Cup, an event organized by the Acquafresca Sports Center that will count on a strong entry list in which ten crews will take part, for a mix of talent and experience that anticipate an absolutely competitive event.
The regatta will be animated by the challenge between the top players of the 69F Cup 2024 provisional ranking which will involve the leader Groupe Atlantic of Clément Cron and his immediate pursuers – they are all separated by just one point – FIN1 Racing of Allan Norreggard and Katana Sailing of Alexander de Weck.
Level performance cues are also expected from Kiril Frolov’s Team Hubex and Zachary Blomely’s Oceana Vivo, recent winner of the Youth Foiling Gold Cup, while among the outsiders we can easily indicate Alexander Ott’ CER Banque du Léman; Igor Rytov’s Russian Bogatyrs; Sergey Kuznecov’s Team Pirogovo; Louis Muller’s BYC Foiling Team and Paul Hameeteman’s Jajo Team Dutchsail.
Races valid for the Grand Prix 3 of the 69F Cup 2024 will take place between friday and sunday on the consolidate format designed to take maximum advantage of the weather conditions, constantly monitored by the PRO David Bartol and Race Director Dede De Luca
