Therefore, the Rolex Giraglia will see its departure on Wednesday, June 16 from San Remo on a 243-mile tour that includes a buoy in French waters near Cannes, before heading to the islet of Giraglia and returning to Genoa at the Nautical Club. from Italy. The ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, June 19.
Therefore, the new program excludes, exceptionally this year, the coastal regattas that took place in the 3 days prior to the off-shore classic. For 2021, the program includes two night regattas to get closer to San Remo: two stages of about 60 miles, one leaving from Genoa and the other from Saint-Tropez to give Italian and foreign crews the opportunity to race towards the port of departure. long.
