39 Copa del Rey MAPFRE
The regatta of the Real Club Náutico de Palma, which will be held from July 31 to August 7, officially begins its countdown with the publication of the Notice of Race, the document that governs the event.
The 39th edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE, organized by the Real Club Náutico de Palma, lasted a long time with the publication of the Notice of Regatta today, Friday 23rd. The competition returns to the bay of Palma from July 31 to August 7 in which, without a doubt, it will be one of the most anticipated editions.
11 classes, with the Maxis as a guest class
The 39 Copa del Rey MAPFRE is scheduled to host a total of 11 classes, one of which – the Maxis fleet – is a guest class.
Thus, the fleets will be distributed as follows: Mallorca Sotheby’s IRC, BMW ORC 1, BMW ORC 2, BMW ORC 3, ClubSwan 50, Swan 45, ClubSwan 42, ClubSwan 36, Herbalife J70, the women’s Women’s Cup class that will sail in J80 and the Maxis.
As for the competition program, as usual, the first two days will be reserved for the confirmation of inscriptions and registration, while the regattas will be held from August 2 to 7, starting at 1:00 p.m. The trophy ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 7, putting an end to this 39th edition.

Open registration
With the publication of this document, the registration period also opens, so those boats that wish to participate in the 39 Copa del Rey MAPFRE have until June 15 to register. To do so, they must access the official website of the event: www.regatacopadelrey.com
The 39 Copa del Rey MAPFRE is organized by the Real Club Náutico de Palma (RCNP) by delegation of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation (RFEV). It has the sponsorship of MAPFRE and the institutional sponsorship of the Government of the Balearic Islands, the Hon. Palma City Council and the collaboration of the Balearic Port Authority and the Balearic Sailing Federation.
